In the tradition of Louis Moinet's creativity, innovativeness, and ingenuity, Louis Moinet has created a box worthy enough to house our fine
timepieces. Traditionally, manufacturers produce interesting and unique boxes to showcase their creations. However, the vast majority of
these boxes wind up stored in a closet, never to be used or appreciated again. To us, that seemed like quite a waste of a precious
opportunity.
So we set out to create a truly unique, luxury watch box that would not only serve as a showcase for Louis Moinet timepieces, but also serve
a practical function for many years to come. We worked hand-in-hand with one of the world's finest watchwinder manufacturers to construct
the Louis Moinet watchwinder book box. Fashioned to replicate Louis Moinet's famous Traite d' Horlogerie published in 1848, the box, at
first, appears to be a luxurious leather-bound two-volume set of books. However, upon closer examination, open the books and you will
discover a quiet, versatile, and handsome watchwinder box with some remarkable features. The watchwinder has a variety of settings to
accommodate the winding needs of just about any automatic timepiece. Additionally, this watchwinder is powered by a lithium ion battery that
does not need to be plugged in, charged, or replaced for five years! As a result you can proudly display your Louis Moinet watchwinder box
just about anywhere: your bookshelf, night stand, office, and yes, even your closet.
Also, the extended battery life means fewer batteries in landfills and the elimination of the need to purchase a separate watchwinder for
your automatic Louis Moinet timepiece. Our watchwinder box is yet another example of the way Louis Moinet strives to create a luxury
experience for our owners while continuing to innovate the industry just like our namesake did during the 19th century.
